Terms of service

These terms cover your use of this website. They do not cover the installation contract itself — that is set out in the quotation and work order you sign with G-9 Solar Energy, and those documents take precedence over anything here.

The savings calculator is an estimate

The calculator on this site uses published state electricity tariffs, average generation figures for the region, and the current PM Surya Ghar subsidy rates. It is an illustration, not a quotation, and it cannot account for your roof area, its orientation, shading from nearby structures, your consumption pattern or your tariff slab.

Actual generation, savings and payback will differ. Binding figures come only from a written quotation issued after a site survey.

Project figures and reviews

Capacities, locations and savings shown in the project gallery describe completed installations. Savings figures are estimates based on system design and prevailing tariffs at the time of commissioning. Customer reviews are the opinions of the individuals who gave them.

Subsidy and approvals

Government subsidy under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is granted by the relevant authority, not by us. We prepare and file the application and follow it up, but eligibility, the amount and the timing of disbursal are decided by the government and your electricity distribution company. The same applies to net metering approval.

Warranties

Solar modules, inverters and other components carry warranties from their respective manufacturers, on those manufacturers’ terms. G-9 Solar Energy warrants the workmanship of the installation as described in your work order. Warranty periods stated on this site are indicative; the terms in your signed documents govern.

Using this site

The content, layout and images on this site belong to G-9 Solar Energy or are licensed to us. Please do not copy them for commercial use without permission. Do not submit enquiry forms with someone else’s contact details, or use the site in any way that interferes with its operation.

We may update the site and these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
